The Polymer Technology Group, Inc. (PTG) significantly expanded its Manufacturing and R&D operations. The company has acquired additional space in the Temescal Business Park in Berkeley, CA adjacent to its existing facility for a total of 53,000 square feet.

Robert S. Ward, Founder, President and CEO, stated, "We are pleased that the growth of our biomaterials and medical device component business has resulted in the need for additional space." He added, "Our new R&D facility will include a state-of-the-art laboratory and pilot plant for new polymer materials development. This will also increase the efficiency of our production scale polymer synthesis and medical device components manufacturing."
